Slide Ten:

This slide shows total and proximal DVT as a percent of interpretable venograms at the end of the 35-day extended prophylaxis period. Both total and proximal DVT was decreased in the two groups receiving extended dalteparin compared to patients who received warfarin in hospital followed by placebo injections. There was no difference in symptomatic DVT among the groups during the extended prophylaxis period.
